Throwback songs of the early 2000s that’ll give you the feels!

Jazz and Rap Music are all fine, but have you ever taken a trip down memory lane with meaningful and soulful retro hindi songs? Because nothing like Hindi songs of the early 2000s to put you in a good mood. The iconic music of this era gave us some love anthems, party numbers that celebrated yaari and some songs that were the marham we needed to heal our broken hearts.
Here are 10 classic songs that will most definitely make you feel officially old yet leave a wide grin on your face.

1. Zara Zara – Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein
If this song doesn’t transport you back to all those teenage crushes you had back then, I don’t know what would.

2. Naa Tum Jaano Na Hum – Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai
There is some indescribable magic in Lucky Ali’s voice that sends you flying in the air like a happy butterfly, doesn’t it?

3. Tanha Dil – Shaan
This was the time when the dimpled boy Shaan walked into our lives (much like in the video) and gave us a song that became our pick-me-up number whenever we were missing that special someone.

4. Angel Eyes – Raghav
I’m still not sure why this song became so famous because of its rhythmic beats or the cute guy, Raghav? Whatever the reason be, every time our playlist hit this song we couldn’t help grooving to it.

5. Kajra Re – Bunty Aur Babli
Where do I even begin - Aishwarya's exuberant oomph in this song or the catchy beats or the addictive hook step? Admit it you’ve danced to this number on more occasions than one.

6. Bole Chudiyan – Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham
This became our go-to song for any mehendi/sangeet ceremony, hai naa? I bet you still remember the hook steps of the song after all these years!

7. Lift Kara Dey – Adnan Sami
Try as you may but you just can’t stop without lifting your hands to do the lift kara de step. When life gives you lemons, here’s what you groove to.

8. Maeri – Palash Sen
It has been ages since this song came out and yet it is so relevant that it makes us emotional even today. Thank you for the Euphoria, Palash Sen. We owe you big time!

9. Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din – Mujhse Shadi Karogi
This is the song you danced to countless times at parties with your yaars and obviously, you know the lyrics like a pro!

10. Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe – Dil Chahta Hai
This pacy number became the party anthem and the most requested song at a DJ night. We simply enjoyed tapping our feet on the dance floor to this one.

Tell us some of your favourite songs that make you nostalgic.
