Versova Social takes its love for green seriously. It is a sprawling 3 story outlet, complete with a garden terrace and bohemian interiors. Designed to look like a Victorian Greenhouse, its various nooks and crannies have an omnipresent ‘foliage’ theme.
With over 30 cocktails to choose from, navigating the extensive drinks menu at Versova Social can be a daunting task.
Lucky for you, LiveInStyle has tried and tested the best that the swanky bar has to offer.
1) The Lantern
Literally served inside a lantern (complete with a rope), this fragrant drink is a mix of Johnnie Walker Red Label and smoked orange marmalade. Suitable for any whisky fan, this drink is surely as much about aesthetics as it is about flavour!
A candy floss fiesta, the Cosmo-Explosion is a colourful, fruity concoction made with Smirnoff, cranberry juice, triple sec and Malta orange zest. Served in a martini glass, this pink drink has the bartender magically making the candy floss disappear right before your eyes! Don’t ask us why we’re in love!
3) Social Screw Driver
Popular for a good reason, the Social Screw Driver is one of the most refreshing things to sip on after a long, tiring day. A tangy take on the regular recipe, Social does it with a well-stirred mixture of Smirnoff, orange juice, bitters, pomegranate and sweet & sour mix. An old, reliable favourite; this one tops our chart when it comes to choosing from Social’s extensive menu!
If you like a drink with some zing to it, give this pickle-flavoured Caprioska a try. With Smirnoff, fresh mint and a sweet & sour mix, it’s served in a traditional pickle jar. So, don’t be in a pickle over what to order when you’re at Versova Social the next time. Go for this acetic delight!
5) Electric LLIIT
The drink which is as complex and as clever as its name, the Electric Longest Long Island Iced Tea (whew) is a stunner in blue. A clever concoction of five spirits, namely Smirnoff Vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec – its fruity, tangy and well, effective. But remember guys, do drink responsibly!
