Okay, I get it, we love not moving from our couch. I mean, what’s not to love, right? You get to sit there for hours, binge on your favourite shows and snacks. But, you see, you’re missing out on this thing called life. We need to go out there and make memories!
Here are the 6 ways to un-stream from the mainstream:
Learn a new language
That’s right! Learn a new language, because people don’t really come with subtitles. A language that has always been intriguing to me is sign language. Communicating without words, that’s interesting, don’t you think? Or just learn French like Joey.
Signup for some dance classes.
Do you like to move it, move it? Me too! These days everybody around me is signing up for dance classes. They’re either doing the aerial aerobics or jazz or contemporary or hip hop. Which kind of inspired me to join and do something other than the macarena!
Explore your city!
No matter how many years you’ve been living in the city, there will be a part of it that you never knew it existed. Don’t believe me? Get out there and explore! Also, you can check out the city heritage tour, bar crawls, fishing tour and cycle trails around the city. So, if you’d like to go cycling with your friends you know what to do!
Relax a bit and get a pedicure, manicure or a facial. If you’re not into it, go out and treat yourself to some of your favourite foods! Put those food cravings to rest and cheat a little.
Make more furry friends.
People or fur babies? You choose! I like them both. Okay, I actually prefer fur babies. Doesn’t matter, as long as you’re interacting with someone other than your screen.
So head out to the nearest cat cafe or a dog cafe in your town.
Laugh OUT loud
Literally, just go out and laugh. There are a lot of gigs and open mics happening around the city. So, you either laugh at their jokes or you crack some jokes to make them laugh.
Also, if you want to meet the ‘mast admi’ here’s where you can go.
Now that you know other ways to savour the pause, go ahead and un-stream from the mainstream with Black Dog Packaged Water Easy Evenings.
