Brace yourselves, summer is coming! Seriously, it’s getting hotter by the minute and the sun has decided not to show us any mercy. But, fret not!
We’ll get through this together with some popsicles. And not just any popsicles, but Negroni popsicles! Yep, you read that right. Now, are we excited or are we excited?
All you’ve got to do is add in some strawberry-grapefruit juice with gin, campari and vermouth and freeze it for a while. And you’re done!
1-litre homemade strawberry-grapefruit juice
60ml Tanqueray gin
60ml sweet vermouth
Combine juice, Tanqueray gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth. Stir well.
Pour mixture into popsicle molds and let it freeze overnight.
Carefully remove popsicles from the molds and voilà!
Ingredients for the strawberry-grapefruit juice
Half Kg strawberries, greens removed
½ cup of sugar
Put strawberries in a blender and add water until strawberries are just barely covered.
Blend until combined and strain; this should give you two cups of juice.
Juice grapefruits until you have about two cups of juice. Add to the strawberry juice.
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
