2019’s Pantone colour of the year is – Living Coral, a coral hue with a golden undertone that energises and enlivens with a softer edge. And what better way than to celebrate this colour by mixing up some cocktails. 

So, we caught up with our in-house expert – Hemant Mundkur – Brand Ambassador Diageo and he helped us concoct some sparkling cocktails to twin along with the Pantone colour of the year.

Get brewing!

1. Salty Dog

Bitter. Sweet. Tangy. 


50 ml Smirnoff Vodka

120 ml Fresh Grapefruit juice


Rim an old fashioned glass with salt. Fill glass with ice, add Smirnoff and grapefruit juice. Garnish with grapefruit slice.

2. In a bubble

For everyone who likes the bubble-gum!


50 ml Bubble-gum Infused Smirnoff

20 ml Lime Juice

10 ml Sugar Syrup


For infusion: Infuse bubblegum in Smirnoff vodka for 36 hours. 

For cocktail: Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with mint leaves.

3. BW New York Sour

Our version of the New York Sour with a Black & White twist. 


50 ml Black & White

25 ml Lime juice

12.5 ml Honey syrup

20 ml Red wine (Merlot)

Half egg white


Add all ingredients except red wine in a shaker and shake vigorously with ice.

Strain the drink into a coupe and pour cold red wine over the top. Garnish with raspberries.

4. Rose Spritzer

Be sure to gram it before you drink it! 


50 ml Tanqueray Gin

15 ml Rose Syrup

10 ml Rosso Vermouth

15 ml Lime juice


Cherries, for garnish


Pour the first four ingredients over ice and top it up with soda. Stir, garnish and serve in a Collins glass. Top it up with chilled soda. Garnish with cherries.
